Shikoku Kotsu Membership Terms and Conditions

Article 1 (Definitions)
In these Terms and Conditions, the following terms shall have the meanings set forth below:

  • “Member” refers to an individual who has agreed to these Terms and Conditions and has registered as a Shikoku Kotsu Member through the prescribed method.
  • “Service” refers to various membership services provided by Shikoku Kotsu Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) on various websites operated by the Company, such as “https://yonkoh.co.jp/” (hereinafter referred to as “Shikoku Kotsu Site”).
  • “Service Provider” refers to an entity other than the Company that provides various products or services sold on the websites operated by the Company.
  • “These Terms, etc.” refers to these Terms and Conditions, notices regarding the use of the Shikoku Kotsu Site, shopping guidelines, and other regulations and guidelines established by the Company.
  • “Member Information” refers to information about the member’s attributes disclosed to the Company by the member, as well as information related to the member’s transaction history, including information collected under Article 11.

Article 2 (Shikoku Kotsu Membership)
Members may use various services on the Shikoku Kotsu Site in accordance with the conditions set by the Company. However, separate registration requirements set by the Company may apply. Additionally, members must participate in the Shikoku Kotsu Points Program based on the “Shikoku Kotsu Points Usage Terms.”

Members may not transfer, sublease, pledge, or otherwise dispose of their membership status and any rights acquired from using the services.


Article 3 (Application of These Terms and Conditions)
These Terms and Conditions apply to all members and must be adhered to both during and after the registration process.


Article 4 (Membership Registration Process)

Membership Eligibility
Individuals who agree to these Terms and Conditions and complete the prescribed membership application process shall acquire membership status upon completion of the registration process. The membership registration process must be carried out personally by the applicant. Registration by proxy is not permitted. Furthermore, the Company may refuse membership applications from individuals whose membership was previously revoked or whom the Company deems unsuitable.

Entering Member Information
During the membership registration process, applicants must carefully read the instructions and accurately enter the required information in the prescribed form.


Article 5 (Management of Passwords)
Members are responsible for managing their passwords by regularly changing them and ensuring they are not disclosed to others. If the entered email address and password match the registered information, the Company will consider that the use of the service is by the member. Even in cases where a third party uses the service due to theft, unauthorized use, or other circumstances, the Company assumes no responsibility for any resulting damages.


Article 6 (Changes to Registered Information)
Members must promptly update their registered information if any changes occur. The Company assumes no responsibility for damages resulting from the failure to update registration information. Additionally, even if an update is made, transactions completed before the update will be based on the pre-update information. If notifying the service provider of such changes is necessary, the member must contact the service provider directly.


Article 7 (Membership Cancellation)
Members wishing to cancel their membership must delete their member information themselves. The cancellation will be completed after the prescribed withdrawal procedures are finished.


Article 8 (Attribution and Responsibility for Transactions on the Shikoku Kotsu Site)
Transactions on the Shikoku Kotsu Site are attributed to either the Company and the member or the member and the service provider, depending on the nature of the product. In cases where the transaction is between the member and the service provider, any disputes arising from the transaction must be resolved between the member and the service provider, and the Company assumes no responsibility.


Article 9 (Company Disclaimer)
For transaction details, products, services, page descriptions, content, and handling of personal information by service providers, members should contact the respective service provider directly. The Company does not guarantee the authenticity, accuracy, timeliness, or usefulness of such information. The Company is also not liable for damages caused by system interruptions, delays, failures, data loss, unauthorized access, or other service-related issues.

The Company does not guarantee that emails or content sent from its web pages, servers, or domains are free from computer viruses or other harmful elements. Additionally, while the Company may provide information or advice to members and service providers, it is not responsible for any consequences resulting from such advice.

The Company assumes no responsibility for damages incurred by members due to violations of these Terms and Conditions.


Article 10 (Prohibited Activities)
Members must not engage in the following activities:

  1. Violating laws, these Terms and Conditions, or usage guidelines of the Shikoku Kotsu Site.
  2. Infringing on the rights, interests, or reputation of the Company, service providers, or third parties.
  3. Engaging in activities that negatively affect minors or violate public morals.
  4. Causing inconvenience or discomfort to other users or third parties.
  5. Entering false information.
  6. Sending or posting harmful computer programs or emails.
  7. Illegally accessing the Company’s servers or other computers.
  8. Lending, transferring, or sharing user IDs and passwords with third parties.
  9. Conducting affiliate advertising for profit using the Shikoku Kotsu Site.
  10. Purchasing products from the Company or service providers for resale.
  11. Mass purchasing and canceling products from the Company or service providers for any reason.

Article 11 (Cookies and Custom Audiences)
The Company uses cookies and collects information such as IP addresses and device identifiers to authenticate members, track access history, and improve services. The Company may also match member registration information with Facebook or Twitter (“Facebook, etc.”) and deliver advertisements to members on these platforms using the Custom Audience feature. The Company does not provide Facebook, etc., with personal information through this process. The Company may also share member information with third parties that have equivalent personal information protection obligations.


Article 12 (Handling of Member Information)
The Company handles personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy (https://yonkoh.co.jp/gaiyou/pp).


Article 13 (Use of Services)
Members must agree to the individual terms of service before using any specific service.


Article 14 (Email Distribution)
The Company may send emails to members regarding urgent information or other necessary notifications. Members may opt out of receiving certain types of communications except those essential for service provision.


Article 15 (Service Suspension)
The Company may suspend or terminate services without prior notice due to maintenance, high traffic, security concerns, or other reasons. The Company assumes no responsibility for damages caused by such suspensions.


Article 16 (Suspension or Cancellation of Membership)
The Company may suspend or cancel a member’s account without prior notice if they violate these Terms and Conditions.


Article 17 (Service Changes or Termination)
The Company reserves the right to modify or discontinue services at any time.


Article 18 (Revisions to These Terms and Conditions)
The Company may revise these Terms and Conditions at any time, with changes becoming effective upon publication.


Article 19 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by Japanese law. The Osaka District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms.
